Fast Views At Barney

Are you in the mood for a movie that's a new release? Visit The Barney Library, 71 Main Street, Farmington and check out a Fast View overnight. A selection is available at the circulation desk. One movie per cardholder may be borrowed on a "first-come, first-serve" basis and the movie may returned in the Barney book drop if the library is closed.

If you are a fan of royalty, you will enjoy viewing The Queen, starring Helen Mirren, Michael Sheen, James Cromwell, Alex Jennings and Sylvia Syms. The movie is directed by Stephen Frears and deals with the compromise that Tony Blair negotiated with the queen after the death of Diana, as the public demanded some show of grief from the royal family. There are funny moments in a story that flows smoothly, incorporating touching moments from Diana's life. Viewing the film is an engaging way to spend an evening.

A sampling of other titles available include: James Patterson's Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas, The Prestige, The Painted Veil, Flags of Our Fathers, The Pursuit of Happyness, Babel, Casino Royal and The Illusionist. Stop by Barney and try your luck at getting a movie that you have been dying to see. It may just be your lucky day for a Fast View from The Barney Library!
