Meet Ernest Hemingway!

The Barney Library Reading Room was the scene of a visit from author Ernest Hemingway recently. Professional actor Richard Clark portrayed Hemingway in a monologue that covered the highs and lows of Hemingway's tortured soul with close to thirty people in attendance. Book group members who had read Hemingway's A Farewell To Arms left with a new appreciation for the writer who battled alcoholism and depression.

This monthly adult program is part of a series done at The Barney Library. The next scheduled meeting is Monday, December 8 at 1:15 p.m. when Christmas Cracker, a light hearted holiday music program will be presented. All are welcome!
