Actor Kevin Johnson delivered an amazing performance as a Civil War soldier for the 29th Connecticut division. With passion and enthusiasm, history came alive as the story of Private William Webb was dramatized for an audience of twenty-four. The script was researched and written by Mr. Johnson, who is employed by The Connecticut State Library History and Genealogy Unit. The timely dramatization was most appropriate for the month of November, when Veterans are honored and Thanksgiving celebrated.

A little singing, a little dancing, a little reading and a little creative play were all the aspects of this Thanksgiving celebration. Children made hand turkeys to decorate their kitchen refrigerators and wreaths to hang as a welcome to the holiday. Gobble gobble and Happy Thanksgiving!
