Julia Shrake and her music - a Christmas Tradition

Julia Shrake provided an enchanting musical interlude with magical harp music and carols on this pre-holiday afternoon. Audience members were treated to a delicious dish of peppermint ice cream, as a bonus and in special celebration of this holiday season.
Both music and ice cream were greatly enjoyed.

A Night for Fun and some Gingerbread

First place

Gingerbread of local places
The Barney in Gingerbread
The Friends of the Library proudly sponsored the library's first-ever Gingerbread Festival. Over 45 structures were created by towns people and were then auctioned off as a fundraiser for the Barney Library.

The houses were amazing, this only proves that Farmington is full of talented and creative folks.
The creations all found good homes and filled the air with the smell of gingerbread and holidays.

A grand opening - a grand reunion

Grand spaces to think, read, research and relax.

A gathering of community to celebrate Barney's new beginning.

A place for study and internet use on new lap-top computers.
Old friends and familiar service -
getting great help from people you know.

Some welcoming intoductions

A newly renovated building filled with wonderful and loyal friends. This library was brimming with excitement and pride as Barney opened the doors. Neighbors, family and friends were so happy to have their community library back again.
