Ninety third grade students from Noah Wallace School visited The Barney Library for a Native American Lesson just before Thanksgiving. Mrs. Maciel and Mrs. Lescoe shared Native American stories, led a Native American stick game, and showcased Native American culture through a DVD and a hands-on sand art project. Judging from the thank you notes written by the students, the presentation was engaging, entertaining, and informative.
