On Tuesday, January 24 at 1:15 p.m., in The Hoppin Gallery of The Barney Library, 71 Main Street, Author Saloma Furlong will speak about her book Why I Left The Amish. Ms. Furlong, of Western Massachusetts, enthralls her audiences with stories of growing up Amish and opens a window into this fascinating culture, while explaining her decision to leave.  The program is free and everyone is welcome to attend.  Registration is requested and can be done through The Farmington Libraries website at www.farmingtonlibraries.org.
